George Wright Scrapbook : scrapbook, 1869 - 1938.

A collection of newspaper clippings primarily relating to George Wright and the Syracuse Stars. There are a few clippings on early baseball history and the Cincinnati Red Stockings and a few clippings on World Series games in the late 1920's and late 1930's. Other newspaper articles cover tennis and golf. There is a scorecard for the 1936 series between the New York Yankees and the New York Giants; not scored. Separated to the Collection Department are three world series tickets, one for game three of the 1936 series and two for the 1937 series, game one and two.
